Ever since I've came out to my friends, everything seemed so trivial but then I realized that I have gained even more knowledge than before and it is a must for me to share.
I've always tried arguing with people on homosexuality with facts in life, theories and what not.
But then when you think about it, those "reasoning" seem to never work.
Even if it is proven that homosexuality is due to the genes, some people will still be against it.
Especially when you focus on "who's the opposer?" and "who's the suppressor?"
Now, I have no problem with religion at all,
but when someone blindly follows anything people say I can come to disrespect that person.
The bible was originally written in Hebrew and it was interpreted by mortal beings.
Now when it comes to translation, it will never be perfect.
And even if it is able to be translated,
it will not hold the exact same meaning at all.
I'm not sure if religious people are aware of this
but I'm sure there will be people screaming against me.
Now in leviticus 18-20, it is mentioned that
"Do not lie with a man as with a woman, it is an abomination".
Firstly, I would love to ask why is homosexuality an abomination?
How does it harm the person itself or the human population?
What is the limiting factor that comes to the growing population?
Isn't the world being too overpopulated today?
If a person is trying to fully follow everything in the bible today,
it would be impossible based on leviticus.

Eating pork, shellfish, lobster, eating meat 3 days old, trimming beards, etc is just as much an "abomination".
But you'll never see people being "anti-pork" or "anti-shellfish" and even "anti-trimming"(?)
Yet, people are being hypocrites about this and claim that everyone has to follow everything the bible say. Yet they don't do it.
Not to mention that if all sins are equal,
The above mentioned, wearing 2 fabrics on the same clothing would also have been wrong.
I will have to mention this and I know A LOT of people will begin to hate me,
but I must.
The POPE (hate me) has been attacking the gay community for quite a long time now during the last year.
I've never seen him criticizing people for eating pork,
criticizing people for trimming and etc.
And yet he stands up to criticizing the gay community, saying it's an abomination.
If they are Pro-Life, why did't HE criticize on the acts of the government on Uganda?
Passing the law on prosecuting gays?
People get angry at others because they are merely asking questions,
spreading the truth.
But whenever it comes to sharing the truth of the church or the government that they are supporting and what not,
they get absolutely furious.
I don't see the point in that
especially since this did happen.
Now based on the Hebrew text,
the word "abomination" originated from the word "toevah"
and it did not usually signify something intrinsically evil,
but something ritually unclean for Jews.
And what is known as homosexuality today used to be
The word "homosexuality" never existed in the world even when the old testament arrived
since "homosexuality" only started to surface around 1892Despite all that, even if the bible does not mention anything about homosexuality, it does not mean that it is a sin.
It's just the same as technology,
our computers, televisions and what not.
It was not mentioned in the bible that we can use such equipments
and yet we do.
And previously it was even mentioned that it was wrong.
