Feminism and transgenders

Men should be strong,
Men should be masculine,
Men should work,
Men should be brave.

Women should be elegant,
Women should wear dresses,
Women should be gentle,
Women should know their manners.
These are the statements that pressurizes people
and make them uncomfortable with their own skin.
They are taunted each and every single day by people
who are not comfortable with their own skin as well

Every single person is born with a different personality,
what identifies them is their cover, their appearance,
and yet our parents pressurize us to dress up according to our gender,
even though it's not as significant as we view it.

Is a man, a man if he wears dresses?
Is a woman, a woman if she has bulging muscles?

Who are we to judge others by their appearances?
Isn't what we were taught since we were children that matters the most?
Never to judge a book by its cover,
because a burnt cover might be concealing a fantasy world that you never imagined.

Why do you call other men who aren't masculine as "girly"?
Why do you call other men who aren't masculine as "gay"?
Why do you call other men who aren't masculine as "sissy"?
Do you feel better after making others feel terrible about themselves?
Even though the words itself should not be harmful at all!
Yet you meant it as if being a girl, a gay or a  feminine man is a crime!

Meanwhile, don't feel proud of yourselves girls,
because SOME of you do the same to men as well.
I understand that some women wish for a fairy tale ending,
they wish for a PERFECT prince that will love them eternally.

And once that dream is broken by one man,
they start to blame every single man in the world.
If you wish to be treated equally among your peers,
start by exhibiting it yourself and voice up.

I understand how hard it is to be alienated and looked down upon,
I'm in the same position as you are,
but that part of us is just a small part of us,
it should not determine us entirely.

Our society is too fixated on the norms and they start to annihilate the different,
what about the people who were born with two different organs?
do you understand how THEY feel?!
Imagine living through a life being pressured to choose one gender over the other!

Or even people who do not identify themselves as their gender,
people who were born of one gender,
and have a "soul" of the other?!
How do they feel when they're being called a boy's name when they really wish to be called out as a girl?!

Before I end this, please take note,
stop making people feel horrible by calling them names
that aren't even supposed to be harmful or are actually harmful,
because you're doing yourself more harm than others!
